The perfect cup of tea can differ from person to person. Brewing a cup of Red Rose Tea may be a simple process, but appreciating the details of this ritual can bring you closer to finding the perfect taste for you.

• How To Brew Hot Tea •

Step 1: Heat It Up

1. Start by heating cold water.

For the best taste results, we recommend boiling water in a kettle (not a microwave) and using purified or spring water.

2. Bring the water to a gentle boil.

The ideal temperature for brewing black tea is 212 F.


TIPS:

Avoid pre-heating the water or letting it reach a rolling boil. This will inhibit the release of the leaves' flavor, causing a flat-tasting cup of tea.

Step 2: Let It Steep

1. Select your favorite Red Rose Tea and place the bag in a cup.

2. Once your water has reached the proper boiling point, pour it into the cup.

3. Allow the tea to steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

4. Add sugar, milk, lemon, or other infusions to taste.
TIPS:

For a stronger cup, try adding another bag. A longer steep may bring out the bitterness in a cup of black tea.

If you're using a teapot, place one Red Rose Tea Bag in the teapot for each cup that you'll be pouring.

 

• How To Brew Iced Tea •

Step 1: Heat It Up

1. Start by heating cold water.

3. Pour the water into a pitcher.
TIPS:

Avoid pre-heating the water or letting it reach a rolling boil. This will inhibit the release of the leaves’ flavor, causing a flat-tasting cup of tea.

Step 2: Let It Steep

1. Add 4 regular size tea bags to your pitcher for every quart of water.

Family size tea bags are made for iced tea and only require one.

2. Steep for 5 minutes.

3. Remove the tea bags and let it cool.

4. Add lemon, sweetener, or other flavors if desired.

5. Add ice and enjoy!
