Red Rose Tea - without the teabag

I think Red Rose Tea is the best (for 40+ years.) For the past 3 years I have been using their loose tea in my ingenuiTEA brewer. Red Rose loose tea comes in a foil pouch that fits nicely inside a short tea canister. The sealed foil pouch keeps the tea fresh until I open it. One 8 oz. pouch lasts about as long as one box of 100 count teabags. I use a rounded 1/2 teaspoon per 16 oz. of hot water and after steeping enjoy the full flavor of the tea minus the teabag. Somehow, it just tastes better.
Red Rose Healthiest Tea

I have been drinking tea all my 70 years and Red Rose Loose Original most often. Recently I read a Canadian Food Inspection Agency report on pesticides and metal in tea and yea bags and was pleased to see that Red Rose contained only trace amount compare to other brand that routinely carry amounts that are over allowable limits. In fact Red Rose was the only Tea that reported such good results.
Of course having just discovered this information I was told by a company representative that they were discontinuing the Original Loose tea products.
For the sake of tea drinkers health, I would like to suggest a write in campaign asking that Red Rose review their decision to discontinue this product. Join me in trying to convince Red Rose to continue to offer this clearly superior product in loose form. Go get em!!!
I Love this TEA!

Red Rose is the best black tea I have ever had, bar none. It is great cold or hot and while the bags are good, the grain is not the same and it is not as rich. I was so very disappointed to see it disappear from the stores and have been buying it in quantity on line to stock pile it in case it no longer becomes available, as I was told may happen when I wrote to the company. PLEASE do not take it away and would love to see it back in stores. I do not do K-cups, way too wasteful of materials and way too little at a time-I make whole tea pots at a time, this is the best. Make it in morning, head out the door with my mug, come home and finish it as a cold brew. It opens and closes my day.
I took the pledge.

I am a tea enthusiast - meaning I enjoy real tea from many sources. Tea bags are not real tea to me. However, due to fond memories of Red Rose Tea Bags growing up in Maine (at the time, Red Rose was only available in Canada), I decided to get some Red Rose for my wife to try. I noticed that loose leaf tea was also available and gave it a try. It is one of the most delicious tea blends I have ever tasted! And the loose leaf variety is different than what they put in bags, according to the ingredients listed on the box. If you are a lover of "real" tea, like myself, than you will glad to at least try this product - it is excellent and only 2.99!
Loose Red Rose Tea a must to try!!!

I do not buy loose tea!!! I imagine the convenience of tea bags has me hooked. However, I am now enjoying Red Rose loose tea leaves. I say it is very good. Two teaspoons in a 16 oz cup fill with boiling water and it is very good standing alone. The leaves stay on the bottom and then dump them out!!!! Of course, if one wants to do a tea ceremony then you can put the leaves in the tea leaves holder!!! It is good standing alone and it also hits the spot!!!:):):

Teh only tea to drink

Red Rose has been the tea used in my home for years. My wife - who drinks only tea - carries Red rose tea bags with her wherever she goes, and gives them to waiters in restaurants for after her dinner hot beverage. At home we brew Red Rose in one of our many teapots - and my wife has converted our children and grandchildren into tea drinkers.
