I bought a 216 box of Red Rose Orange Pekoe and I’ve used about half of the box. Every single tea bag has burst in the teapot. It’s as if the “glue” on the seams melts when it sits in the water. The tea tastes fine but you need a strainer. This was my first purchase of Red Rose and it will be my last.
This black tea is by far the best!! Smooth, beautiful red hue. It's my favorite 😍 No harsh black tea bitterness like many have. Delicious and mild!
I throw three of these in a pitcher and leave it in the fridge for a while, then I have tea that's cold enough that I don't need ice. :)
I usually get the 100ct jewel vrand sig select tea, but I noticed RED Rose 100ct was 50% off ($3) so I gave it a try. Love it, going to be my new go to brand. I use it for iced sun tea and this stuff has such a stronger flavor which is great when the ice melts it doesn't taste watered down. Perfect strength, not overbearing like some teas that leave your tongue numb.
R.R. original black tea makes the best sun tea for iced tea, ever.
A cup hot , brewed for two minutes with a squirt of lemon and a pinch of sugar is nice, too.
